What is Radiesse?
Radiesse was approved by the FDA as a facial filler and has become popular for its results with adding more volume to the patients desired area. Radiesse consists of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) in an aqueous polysaccharide gel carrier. When injected, the gel is absorbed over time. The body then metabolizes the CaHA, which stimulate the body to produce collagen.
When using Radiesse in a hyperdiluted form, it is a biostimulatory agent, rather than a volumizing filler, and it improves skin quality, texture, firmness, and tone. It can be used in the face, neck, décolletage, glutes, and other areas of the body.
What is Hyperdilute Radiesse?
Hyperdiluted Radiesse is simply Radiesse that has been diluted with a mixture of sterile saline solution and lidocaine. This makes it a spreadable biostimulator capable of remodeling skin over a larger area.
When injected with the diluted mixture, the areas of collagen loss, trigger the body to produce new collagen and elastin. Immediately after our patients will notice a pronounced and visible smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin.
Hyperdilute Radiesse is for areas on the skin that show sagging, looseness, and volume loss. The calcium hydroxyapatite molecules in Radiesse stimulate the body to build new collagen. Resulting in a naturally firm and improved treatment area.
